The Office of International Students and Scholars (OISS)  is here to assist you in many areas during your studies at WSU.  We help you maintain your status, assist you with issues such as cultural adjustment, immigration regulations, and other questions, concerns or problems. No question is too big or too small, and students are always welcome to stop by just to say “hello!” Our friendly staff strives to provide the support services that students need to be successful at WSU.

OISS staff is available to students from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. (during Fall/Winter, 5:00 p.m. during Spring/Summer).  In order for us to provide you with excellent service it is important that you bring your current I-94, I-20 or DS-2019, and passport whenever you meet with an OISS advisor.  You can sign in to see an advisor Monday through Thursday 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. and 1:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. (must be signed in by 5:15 p.m.) during the Fall/Winter terms, and until 5:00 p.m. during the Spring/Summer term. Friday's we have walk-in advising from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.  If these hours don’t work with your schedule you can always schedule an appointment with one of our advisors via online services.  You can also send an email to oissmail@wayne.edu if you have any questions or need assistance, and a member of our staff will respond within 24 48 hours.
